No luck so far

The trap seems well built and like it should be effective. My rats just dont seem to be food motivated. I left the trap open for days, as directed. I tried the chicken and goat feed that drew them in to begin with, I tried peanut butter, suet, tuna, dog & cat food, hot dogs, fried chicken, bread... Everything. No rat will touch it even when it's open. I put other "new" items out there and they climb all over them... But they won't touch ANY trap. I'm at wits end. I wanted this to work... And i feel like it should... But my rats seem to just want to play. I have a barn cam... I watch then run around all night. They're even climbing ON my goats now. My poor goats can't sleep. I feel awful that I can't fix this for them. - Jen Milton

Wow... Incredible

We are a rodent control company in Los Angeles, we had a big job in a warehouse that was infested with rats, we wanted to get them out as fast as possible, so we bought 4 of the ratinator traps from Animal Traps & Supplies, they got the traps to me from their warehouse to Los Angeles in like 4 days, incredible. We then placed the traps in the warehouse in various spots with the most activity, we baited them with peanuts and left them open for a week, and also put little hamster water bottles in the traps, so the rats got used to free food and water for a week. The next week we set the traps and booooooom, we caught 4-6 a day in each trap, now I think we caught them all. Little advice to humanly dispatch the rats, don't drown them that's cruel take the black tray that comes with it and set the trap and rats inside the black tray, throw a chunk of dry ice in it and cover with plywood. the rats fall a sleep and pass away. - Louis Rico

The Ratinator works great

The Ratinator is a live-multi-catch rat trap that works great.
Rats were visiting my chicken coop at night (saw them on the cameras).
The Ratinator cleaned up the problem very quickly.
13 rats (all sizes) the 2nd night (using raisins).
Ones and two's since then on an irregular basis.

The plastic basin included makes giving the rats a bath
and disposal very easy.
