CONTRAC Meal with the single-feeding anticoagulant, Bromadiolone has proven bait acceptance due to its highly palatable meal formulation.  It is an excellent clean-out and maintenance bait to control mice and rats, including warfarin-resistant Norway rats.

Meal bait, while the least weatherable bait form, get consistent rodent acceptance because it contains food-grade ingredients, seeds and grains, which give rodents a variety of textures and flavors.  Rodents can consume a lethal dose in a single nights feeding.

• Bait shyness is not a problem with CONTRAC because mortality occurs a few days after a toxic does is consumed.
• The antidote, Vitamin K₁ is readily available.

It is ideal to use insensitive areas where rodents might possibly transport the bait.  It can be placed where rodents frequent like gnawed opening, in or beside burrows, corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, etc.
