The BurrowRx is a Carbon Monoxide Sprayer that utilizes a smoke oil tracer to show you where most of the Carbon Monoxide is going.  

Carbon Monoxide can be used as an effective approach to control of burrowing rodents. As the Carbon Monoxide enters the burrow system, the rodent breathes it in. The Carbon Monoxide then replaces the oxygen in their blood. And without oxygen, cells in the body die and organs stop working.

GUIDELINES - USE DIRECTIONS - BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES

Directions for Use - For use against burrowing/tunneling rodents.
Note: Be sure to assemble the sprayer, including adding gasoline and motor oil, as described in the Operation Manual.
1. Fill smoke oil cup, located on the manifold, with Smoke Oil. Open valve to drop oil into manifold. Make sure to close valve.
2. Find an active burrow/tunnel to treat. If needed, use probe.
3. Set BurrowRx sprayer near area to be treated and keep level or slightly tilted forward.
4. Place exhaust nozzle into burrow/tunnel.
5. Start engine.
6. Place soil over areas where smoke is escaping.
7. Run BurrowRx sprayer for 3 minutes, and then shut off.
8. Repeat if necessary. Due to different size tunnels/burrows, soil types and other conditions, several treatments may be needed.
NOTE: The BurrowRx sprayer must be shut off prior to adding additional smoke oil.

Danger: Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas that is odorless and colorless. Exposure to carbon monoxide can kill within minutes. Never use in structures inhabited by humans, pets or livestock. This sprayer must be used in accordance with all existing laws and regulations including Chapter 1.5 (commencing with Section 2050) of Division 3 of, known as the California Endangered Species Act, and Sections 4002 and 4003 of the Fish and Game Code.

ONLY FOR OUTDOOR USE: Use the machine only outdoors where there is no risk of smoke or exhaust getting indoors.

For inhabited buildings: Burrows being treated must be at least 10 feet away from buildings that are actively inhabited. Ensure the foundation is in good condition, free of holes or gaps. This will prevent the carbon monoxide treatment from entering the building. Do not apply carbon monoxide near any exterior door thresholds or nearby any building air intake vents.

For uninhabited buildings: Burrows being treated can be within 10 feet of building. If smoke is seen or the technician suspects that carbon monoxide has entered a structure ventilate area by using fans.

Once treatment is completed all burrows should be collapsed. It is recommended that you revisit the site in subsequent days to determine if new burrows have been established. Repeat treatment as needed.
