XCLUDER DOES THE JOB
As owner/operator of a professional wildlife pest service company, I use Xcluder cloth regularly for sealing homes to rodent entry. I recommend the product for odd shaped openings where hardware cloth cannot be fitted and as a chew proof insert for garage door bumpers. Have not had any rusting issues as you can get with regular steel wool. Fairly easy to cut, and I dedicate a pair of scissors just for that job.
