Product description

Safeguard Bird Traps provide you with an easy way to safely 'catch and release' birds.  Whether you have to catch a lot of birds or just a few, we have a solution that will best suit your needs.

This pigeon trap has 8 entry doors and 1 main compartment and will hold up to 30 birds.  

Be sure to keep a water source inside the trap and check trap daily.  TIP: Use whole kernel corn as bait for pigeons.  Whole kernel corn is too large for any other birds to feed on and will ensure all you catch are pigeons.  Start by leaving a generous pile of bait out in the area you plan on putting the cage.  Do not use the cage at first so the birds become accustomed to feeding from that area.  After a few days, put a large pile of bait out, settle the cage on top of it so the corn is now inside the cage and leave a trail of corn leading into an open area outside the cage walls.  Let the birds eat their way inside until they are trapped. 

This trap has 8 entry doors and a top hinged unloading door.
