Model RC200 is a versatile remote control trap trigger that allows you to trigger your trap remotely with the pull of a trigger. This device allows you to target specific animals and shut the trap door exactly when you want it shut from up 200+ feet away! The hand held unit contains a rechargeable lithium ion battery and comes with one USB cord for charging from a computer or USB wall mount charger. The receiver unit contains four AA batteries. Model RC200 is an updated version of our RC100 remote trap trigger. This updated model features an easier to install mounting system compared to the outdated RC100. No additional brackets are required for installing this unit on a Drop Trap and it is more stable when used with a drop trap compared to older versions. Only an additional prop is required for using this unit with a drop trap and is available as an add on option. This is an invaluable item to have for trapping, as it is the best way to control exactly when the trap closes. You can use it to trap a specific cat without trapping other cats and having to let them out again. It's also very helpful for trapping multiple cats or kittens at one time, and trapping cats that either won't go all the way to the back of the trap or are too light to set off the trap. - AJ
