HY-C Stainless Steel 8" Round Chimney Cap

This 8" round chimney cap come complete with a 16-gauge stainless steel base, 18-gauge ¾” stainless steel mesh, and a 24-gauge stainless steel hood (⅝” mesh is available when required by local codes). The Bolt-On styles utilize slotted hex-head stainless steel bolts and a screwdriver for installation, while the Slip-In styles utilize four tension-fit braces that slide into the flue and hold the cap in place. The cap’s hood and mesh combine to keep nuisance wildlife and precipitation out of chimneys while still facilitating a proper draft.

Designed for masonry flues only. Not to be used with metal air-cooled chimney systems.
